Springs' freshest and most innovative gourmet restaurant.
We capture the flavors and earthly
character of seasonal cooking. Inspired by the great Trattorias
and villas of Italy, we use only the finest and freshest
ingredients available reflecting our respect for tradition. In
the spirit of innovation we continually search for new and
creative ways to use these ingredients. Our goal is to alter the
fine dining experience in Hot Springs by keeping our food fresh,
simple, and beautiful. This, along with our dedication to
friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service will ensure your
visit will be a memorable occasion.
The concept
for Pompeii Café began in 1998, with previous owner Jay Baxter's
travels to Italy developing a menu reflecting a variety of
ethnic influences and flavors. Ownership of Pompeii Café
transitioned to the current owner Vincent Waide in January of
2004. With the addition of Vincent to the current team, came a
strong knowledge of culinary techniques and presentation, along
with years of experience creating and managing wine lists in
several 4 star restaurants in Dallas, Texas. In 2004, Pompeii
Café & Pizzeria became Pompeii Café & Wine Bar.
The
restaurant seats 125 in two separate dining rooms, the green
room and the red room. An additional private dining room
adjacent to the green room is perfect for private parties of up
to 45 guests. Our Full service bar located between the two main
dining rooms is the perfect environment for a relaxing cocktail
and stimulating conversation.
Although we typically
encourage cigar and pipe smoking, Arkansas state law has forced
us to encourage it outdoors.
